London based photographic artist working on my own self assigned projects. Stuttering through my own visual language.
Influenced by the ideology of Andre Breton as much as the working practices of William Eggleston, my work exists somewhere between absolute real life and my imagination.
I shoot almost exclusively on film and printing my work is a large part of my practice. This process helps me to stay connected with my photographs and I find being in the darkroom allows time for ideas to flourish and ruminate.
Although my recent projects are concerned with human behaviour and ritual I do consider Portraiture, specifically environmental Portraiture, to be a core element of my work.
Currently working on 'The 11th Night' / 'Personal History' / 'Balkan Beaches and Beyond'
